About Burloak Basketball
Burloak Basketball is the first club in the GTHA to reimagine the structure in which youth basketball is administered.
While the sport is fun in and of itself, we believe that the way basketball is consumed has changed, but club basketball has not yet changed with it.
At Burloak Basketball, we want to highlight the experiences that all of our players have while they play throughout the year. In this new age, this begins with technology. Instead of players telling their parents about something that happened on the court, we want them to be able to show them.
This starts at the very top. We believe that our strong foundation Will allow our coaches to focus on coaching, our players to focus on playing, and our parents to focus on watching their children play the game they love!

Meet Our Coaches
All our coaches are instrumental in creating, implementing, and sustaining a culture where the entire team is happy to come to work.
Each of our coaches has dedicated their free time to share their knowledge of the game with the next generations of players throughout the years.
Chris Denley
Chris Denley is the head of Burloak Basketball. With over a decade and a half of coaching experience, Chris has decided to create the club with the vision of creating a more enjoyable environment for players than traditional city clubs can offer. Most recently, Chris has won the U15 OBLX championship and has won multiple division "A" championships. Chris is known for helping players achieve their highest potential as evidence in the amount of CIS and NCAA caliber players that graduate out of his systems.
James Carlin
The former Sheridan Bruin is bringing his expertise to the Burloak Bruins. James is a 2x OCAA champion and 2x CCAA silver medalist. James also offers 8 years of coaching experience and continued playing experience.
