Our basketball programs

Burloak Elite rep teams

Burloak Elite is our competitive rep program, with boys and girls teams from U10 to U19. Teams play in the Ontario Basketball League (OBL), Coalition and TCBL, and compete at Ontario Cup and tournaments across the province. Tryout dates, age groups and registration are posted on our Rep Tryouts page.

Skill academies

Our Burloak Academies are drop-in skill sessions for players aged 8 to 17. Choose the Dribbling Academy for ball handling, the Shooting Academy for a consistent shot, the PG Academy for point-guard reads, or the Big Man Academy for post play and footwork. Book one session at a time and train around school, rep and house-league schedules.

Jr. Academy for Grades 2 to 5

Jr. Academy is the best first step into organized basketball. The course runs for 8 Saturdays and teaches dribbling, passing, shooting and teamwork through fun drills and games, with patient coaches and small groups.

Basketball camps

Our March Break and summer basketball camps are open to players aged 9 to 18 of all skill levels. Each week mixes skill days with game days, with groups set by age and experience so every player is challenged. Spots fill quickly, so register early.

Private basketball training

Want focused, 1-on-1 coaching? Our private training sessions are one hour with a Burloak coach, Monday to Friday, for $55 a session. Choose an all-skills session or a session focused only on shooting.

Basketball training in Burlington

Our basketball training in Burlington is built around one idea: players improve fastest when they get lots of quality reps with good coaching. Every session at our North Service Road gym is planned by Burloak coaches, with small groups, clear teaching points and game-speed drills, so players leave knowing exactly what they worked on and how to keep improving at home.

A youth basketball academy for every level

Burloak is a youth basketball academy as much as a club. Beginners learn the basics of dribbling, passing, shooting and footwork. Developing players add moves, reads and confidence through our skill academies and camps. Competitive players push for a spot on a Burloak Elite rep team, where practices, league games and tournaments challenge them against the best in Ontario.
